Stay With Me Awhile by Loren Kleinman is the rawest, realest set of poetry I've ever seen.
"The woods are grown by a woman named Truth. Life deepens because of her."
Loren gets extremely personal and rips herself open for us about love and life as she writes about sex, memories, death, and self acceptance. Poets who are not afraid to be real and tell people like it is, are the most interesting and successful. That is Loren Kleinman! She talks about things most people would not dream of saying.
A few of my favorites are: "Its cold out there", "Truth gave me flowers", and "The body is a poem".
Loren has also dedicated a few pages in here to real people and true events. Stay with me awhile is such a special little book, because in its pages, it holds amazing words.
I can not wait to read more by this author! she has a new adult romance book coming out in August! Make sure you keep an eye out for it!
